Three separate buy-one-free-one campaigns are running at the same time on foodpanda: Nam Heong chicken rice, Pepper Lunch's beef and salmon pepper rice, and Marrybrown, all listed from 20 to 23 October 2026. The Pepper Lunch one has a twist. PRO subscribers get it on 20 and 21 October, while everyone else only gets it on 22 and 23 October, so the two groups are not ordering on the same days. What I want to know is whether anyone actually comes out ahead once the delivery fee and the minimum order are counted. On one rice bowl the fee can swallow most of the free second portion, and a buy-one-free-one usually pushes you to order more than one person would eat. Have you worked out the real total per head, or do you just order and hope?

The free portion has always been the same item for me, so two chicken rice and one delivery fee. Alone it only makes sense if you are happy eating the second one cold the next day.
Peak hour is the real killer, not the fee. I ordered at 12.15 once and it landed at 1.20, by which time the free portion was already lukewarm.
Does the buy-one-free-one stack with the shop's own voucher, or does one replace the other at checkout? I have had a promo quietly eat the other before.
We do it as an office order instead. Four people, two sets, fee split four ways and it comes back to a normal lunch.
For Marrybrown the portions are smaller than Nam Heong, so the free one actually gets finished instead of sitting in the fridge until Tuesday.
Anyone tried collecting at the outlet instead of delivery? If the same deal applies on self pickup the fee problem disappears entirely.
