The Trip.com Malaysia AirAsia Super Sale is live from 25 October to 7 November 2026. The headline is return flights from RM194, with 2% off flights and 6% off hotels on top, and the booking window covers travel up to 30 September 2027. What I cannot work out is whether the low fares actually get pulled early. Last year I watched a KL-Bangkok return sit at roughly the same level for the entire sale, then move only slightly in the 11.11 campaigns two weeks later. The thing that genuinely changed was seat availability on the Friday flights. So: do you book inside a campaign like this one, or hold out for 11.11 and risk the dates? Curious what people are doing for the Deepavali and year-end travel, especially on routes where there is only one carrier.

Booked a KL-Penang return on day one of their last sale and the fare did not move for the rest of the week. If your dates are already fixed, waiting usually costs you the seat rather than saving you anything.
The 2% on flights is the small part. Look at the hotel side separately, because 6% off a room you were going to book anyway is where the actual saving sits.
Does the travel window until 30 September 2027 mean next year's Deepavali is bookable at today's fare, or do the cheap buckets get pulled from the far dates? That is the bit I would want confirmed before paying.
Read the fare rules before you check out. Some promo fares drop the checked bag, and adding it at the airport later costs more than picking it during booking.
I set a price alert on the route two weeks before the campaign and the from RM194 figure was already on the normal listing. Compare against the airline's own app before committing to the platform.
The reschedule fee on one of those promo fares was higher than the ticket itself. Fine if your plans are firm, painful if you are booking around a family event that might shift.
