What our end dates say about urgency — offers closing between 7 and 13 November 2026

Almost every offer we hold carries an end date, and most of those dates fall inside a single week. We counted them per day and per store, and looked at the offers whose discount we refuse to print at all.

End dates read on 7 November 2026 — counted from each listing

We hold 395 published offers whose end date falls on or after 7 November 2026, spread over 44 shops. Of those, 323 (82%) also carry a merchant reference price we are willing to print — the original price has to be no more than 3 times the sale price. On the others we show the sale price and no percentage, because a “was” price nobody can check is not a discount, it is a claim.

A flat schedule, and why we do not sell it as urgency

Between 35 and 40 offers close on each of the days above. That is a flat profile: the end dates do not pile up on a single day, so a countdown on this site is a fact about one listing, not a signal that something is about to run out for everyone. We cannot tell from an end date alone whether a date comes from the merchant's own campaign calendar or from how the listing was captured, and we do not guess in print.

What the dates are good for is planning: a closing date tells you how long you have to compare, and nothing more. If you need a deal before a specific date, the list below is the honest starting point — it is the same query the table above comes from.

Where we refuse to print a percentage

BookXcess is the clearest case: 21 of its offers in this set are published, and 21 of them declare a reference price above 3 times the sale price. The reduction is real in the merchant's own numbers, but a reference price we cannot check is exactly what fake “80% off” banners are made of, so those pages show the sale price alone. The offer still exists and is still listed — we simply do not sign a percentage we did not verify.

How to check every figure on this page

The counts come from one table and one condition. End dates are read in Kuala Lumpur time, so a listing cannot “end yesterday” for a reader in Malaysia while still being valid in UTC:

SELECT (end_date AT TIME ZONE 'Asia/Kuala_Lumpur')::date AS closes_on,
       count(*) AS offers,
       count(*) FILTER (
         WHERE price > 0 AND original_price > price
           AND original_price <= 3 * price
       ) AS publishable_discount
  FROM deals
 WHERE status = 'active' AND end_date IS NOT NULL
   AND (end_date AT TIME ZONE 'Asia/Kuala_Lumpur')::date >= '2026-11-07'
 GROUP BY 1 ORDER BY 1;

Offers whose end date is missing are excluded from every count on this page. Nothing here is estimated, sampled or rounded up.
