Short, dated pieces written from the offers we actually hold — not from press releases. Every number in every article comes with the query that produced it, so you can recompute it yourself against the same database.
Prices recorded on 7 November 2026: 71 shop-and-department pairs, 363 offers, 40 shops. Published offers with an end date on or after 7 November 2026: 395, of which 323 carry a reference price we are willing to print.
Both figures are recomputed each time this page is served — they are not editorial copy.
What the offers we hold actually cost — cheapest, median and dearest, computed from our own price snapshots.
How deep the discounts really are, and when we refuse to print a percentage because the merchant reference price cannot be trusted.
When the offers we publish stop being valid — counted from the end date on each listing, never estimated.
Prices ·
We priced every live offer we hold, store by store and department by department. In some departments the dearest offer costs more than two hundred times the cheapest — which says something about the range a shop carries, and nothing about a discount.
End dates ·
Almost every offer we hold carries an end date, and most of those dates fall inside a single week. We counted them per day and per store, and looked at the offers whose discount we refuse to print at all.
The magazine is written by the JustDeal data desk and published by JustDeal.my. The desk works
only from two tables: deals (every published offer, its price, its reference price
and its end date) and price_snapshots (one line per shop and department per day:
cheapest, median and dearest price of the offers that were live). If a figure cannot be produced
by a query on those tables, it is not written here.
The price series started on 07/11/2026. Until 07/12/2026 this magazine publishes single-day statements only, labelled “prices recorded on 07/11/2026”. Claims about a 30-day movement, a “monthly evolution” or “this month” are not published, because the data behind them does not exist yet.
An offer we cite is linked on the page. When it stops being valid, the link disappears from the article rather than pointing at a dead listing.
