Finally a tri-ply casserole that works on my induction hob without breaking the bank. A 24cm deep casserole from Tramontina with a stainless steel + aluminium + stainless steel tri-ply base for even heat, plus a matching stainless lid and sturdy side handles. It is induction-compatible, oven-safe up to 260°C and dishwasher safe, so it covers everything from one-pot curries to oven braises. The listed price is a steep cut from the usual retail figure, which is rare for tri-ply stainless cookware in this size. Check stock and warranty terms with Metrojaya before ordering, and note the lid and handles get hot in the oven.
My old iron was scorching my baju kurung, so this non-stick soleplate one caught my eye. Comes from an established Malaysian online store; check whether shipping is included and keep the invoice for warranty claims.

Tip from experience: never blast it on high heat, medium is plenty and the non-stick lasts much longer.
Using a Tefal non-stick for about three years now and the coating still holds up well as long as I stick to a soft sponge.
Does the 28cm size fit a standard two-egg fry nicely, or is it too wide for small households?
