Does the black fade after a few washes? That's usually my worry with cotton canvas bags.
Good as a casual weekend bag or for packing groceries, but I'd check if there's an inner pocket first.
I've bought a few cotton totes from Metrojaya before and the stitching usually holds up well after washing.
